I do let me daughter pick clothes and that doesnt work lol. It doesnt matter b/c she loves it in the store and hates it at home. If the leggings are too long they aren't good, if there is lace at the bottom no good, etc. She is not allowed flip flops at school and that is all she wore all summer. She now has Uggs and sneakers. Well now there is a problem with the Uggs. The leggings bunch up when she puts them on! Ugh!!! What a pain in the butt lol. Finally I bought her this adorable outfit and she put it on and loved it! I was so happy and then she was yelling again at the Uggs. She gets SO frustrated its hard, but I stay calm the whole time. I basically tell her now "sometimes things are not very comfortable when we first put them on and we need time to adjust to them. You need to go to school so you will just have to deal with the clothing for now." And that seems to work 98% of the time so thats good for me right now. It's just such a struggle and one I wish I didnt have
